The role
The company, a messaging platform used by over 9,000 companies, is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Product/AI area. The role owns ambiguous product problems end to end across a Go and React stack. Location limits are not stated.
What you will do
- Own ambiguous problems from initial framing through launch and iteration
- Partner with product, design and data on priorities, scope and success measures
- Lead technical decisions on architecture, performance, reliability and maintainability
- Align teams and resolve technical disagreements on cross-team initiatives
- Mentor engineers, build reusable patterns and use AI across the engineering workflow
- Join an on-call rotation for the systems the team builds
