The role
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Growth & Engagement team, which owns the customer journey from acquisition and onboarding to retention and monetization. You would build customer-facing features and run experiments with Product, Design and Data.
What you will do
- Design, build and maintain customer-facing features for acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and monetization.
- Design and analyze experiments using feature flags, A/B testing and analytics.
- Build instrumentation and event pipelines that show customer behavior.
- Improve performance, reliability, accessibility and scalability of critical user journeys.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and design discussions, and contribute to roadmap and technical strategy.
What they ask for
- 5+ years as a software engineer building and operating production software.
- Strong skills building web applications with TypeScript, React, Node.js and MongoDB or similar.
- Experience building customer-facing products with Product and Design.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience using analytics and business metrics such as activation and retention to guide decisions.
- Experience designing or analyzing product experiments is preferred.
