The role
The company, an IoT and connected operations company, is hiring a Senior Manager to lead its Test Infrastructure and Quality Engineering organization. You would manage engineering managers, software engineers and quality engineers, and set the quality strategy for the platform.
What you will do
- Lead managers, software engineers and quality engineers across test infrastructure and automation
- Set the vision and multi-year roadmap for quality engineering and shared testing platforms
- Build self-service test infrastructure including frameworks, environments, test data and device simulators
- Define measurable quality outcomes such as escaped regressions, coverage and time to signal
- Reduce flaky tests and shorten feedback loops
- Introduce AI-assisted test generation, failure classification and root-cause analysis
What they ask for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years in software engineering, developer infrastructure or test engineering
- Experience leading and developing engineering managers and engineers
- Experience with test automation, CI/CD and quality strategy at scale
- Backend is Golang on AWS with Terraform; direct experience is not required
