The company is hiring an Engineering Manager for Developer Experience to lead a team that improves developer workflows, CI/CD, build systems and internal tooling. The company describes itself as an AI-native company, so daily AI use is expected.
What you will do
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, build systems and internal tools, including AI-powered tooling and agents
- Build, mentor and lead a team of developer productivity engineers
- Define and track metrics for developer productivity, satisfaction and AI adoption
- Drive adoption of AI coding tools across engineering teams
- Remove pain points in the development lifecycle
- Ensure the team follows AI usage guidelines and flag risks in AI-generated code
What they ask for
- 7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of developer tools, CI/CD and modern development practices
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Codex
- Daily personal AI use and experience coaching others, with knowledge of prompt engineering and token economics
- Experience orchestrating work between humans and AI agents
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
