The role
The company is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in its Customer Engineers team within Professional Services. The role leads data infrastructure across Microsoft Fabric, on-premise SQL and Dynamics 365 (Dataverse), and delivers Power BI analytics. Work follows US business hours.
What you will do
- Lead design and optimization of ETL and data pipelines across platforms
- Set best practices for data integration, quality, security and governance
- Manage data migrations, archival and integrations between systems
- Build Power BI dashboards and analytical models
- Gather requirements from customers and implement platform features for clients
- Mentor teammates and write documentation and knowledge base content
What they ask for
- BS in computer science, engineering, math, statistics or a similar field
- 3+ years in a technical role handling large data sets (ETL, warehousing, analytics)
- 6+ years in client-facing roles serving technical and non-technical users
- Extensive SQL Server and ETL experience in hybrid on-premise and cloud setups
- Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience (Lakehouse, Data Pipelines or Data Engineering)
- Power BI proficiency including data modelling and DAX
- Python or SQL scripting for data processing
- Available during US business hours
