The role
The company, a bone health supplement e-commerce company, is hiring a Lead QA Developer to improve quality and reliability of its React-based storefront and internal middleware. The role builds and scales automated testing and guides other QA developers.
What you will do
- Architect, optimise and scale automated test frameworks across the Shopify Hydrogen storefront and middleware
- Integrate automated tests into cloud CI/CD pipelines
- Reduce flaky tests and improve reporting and pipeline stability
- Track metrics such as coverage, runtimes and production defect leakage
- Guide and review the work of other QA developers
What they ask for
- 5+ years of QA development with examples of automated testing strategies
- 2+ years of leadership, mentoring or coaching
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright or similar tools
- Experience integrating tests into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with API contract, performance and load testing
- E-commerce experience; Python, PHP, Figma, Storybook or Jest a plus
