The role
Instacart is hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy for Instacart+, its membership program. The work spans positioning, acquisition messaging and lifecycle programs for members. The role reports to the Director, Consumer Product Marketing; Instacart describes a flexible, remote-friendly approach.
What you will do
- Own Instacart+ positioning against competing membership and subscription offerings
- Build messaging and lifecycle programs across email, push, in-app and paid
- Work with growth and performance marketing to test messaging that converts trial and lapsed users
- Bring member research into product roadmap discussions
- Own the brief, messaging and channel strategy for new Instacart+ feature launches
What they ask for
- 8+ years in marketing, including 4+ years in product marketing; consumer tech preferred
- Track record owning go-to-market for a subscription, membership or loyalty program
- Knowledge of member acquisition, onboarding, engagement and churn
- Ability to turn consumer research and behavioral data into positioning
- Experience presenting strategy to VP and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience with A/B testing and working with growth, CRM, creative and data science teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
