The role
Motive, a platform for managing drivers, vehicles and fleet spend, is hiring a Senior Technical SEO Specialist to lead its technical SEO program, including site health, international SEO and AI search readiness. You would work with Web Engineering, Content and Marketing teams.
What you will do
- Run recurring technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, rendering, redirects, canonicals, structured data and page quality.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to turn crawl and search data into a prioritized list of fixes.
- Make sure priority pages can be accessed and cited by AI answer engines.
- Resolve content cannibalization and duplication with the Content and Web teams.
- Handle technical SEO for international sites, including hreflang and regional sitemaps.
- Write engineering-ready SEO requirements and QA launches, migrations and redesigns.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of technical SEO experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or multi-template environments.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Expertise in crawling, indexation, JavaScript SEO, hreflang, internal linking and Core Web Vitals.
- Knowledge of schema.org/JSON-LD and diagnosing keyword cannibalization at scale.
- Experience working with engineering teams and measuring impact on traffic, leads and pipeline.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog and log analyzers.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
