The role
Coinbase is hiring a software engineer for the Stablecoin team in its Developer product group. You would build backend services for stablecoin issuance and operations and integrate partner APIs. The company is remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Build backend services for stablecoin issuance, onboarding and operations
- Integrate external partner APIs with internal systems to launch new international stablecoins
- Deliver features end to end, from design to production, with product managers, designers and tech leads
- Support the smart contracts that mint and burn stablecoins, alongside senior engineers
- Build rewards, incentive and conversion features with the UX, Growth and Ecosystem teams
- Improve reliability, monitoring and observability of the platform
What they ask for
- 2+ years building and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture
- Proficiency in Go
- Exposure to blockchain fundamentals, such as Ethereum or other EVM chains
- Experience evaluating, integrating and operating third-party APIs
- Ability to deliver features end to end with autonomy
- Familiarity with distributed systems patterns and well-tested code
- Attend quarterly in-person working sessions
