The role
Toast, which builds restaurant technology, is hiring a staff cloud security engineer to expand its AWS security capabilities and set direction for the cloud security team. The role is remote in the US.
What you will do
- Own and operate the CNAPP platform and turn findings into work for engineering teams
- Lead cloud security posture management across AWS accounts
- Improve IAM and least-privilege access
- Secure container environments and build guardrails into IaC and pipelines
- Take part in incident response and on-call
What they ask for
- 8+ years in security, infrastructure or software engineering with a focus on cloud security
- Deep hands-on experience securing AWS at scale
- Experience with CNAPP or CSPM tools such as Orca, Wiz or Upwind
- Container and Kubernetes security experience (e.g. EKS)
- Threat modeling and cloud incident response experience
