The role
Twilio, a remote-first communications company, is hiring a Staff Enterprise Security Engineer focused on AI security. You would design guardrails and reference architectures for AI platforms and agents used inside the company. The role is remote but not open in the San Francisco Bay Area.
What you will do
- Design secure reference architectures for enterprise AI platforms
- Set up a framework for vetting AI tools and drive related policy and culture change
- Set the roadmap for agentic AI identity and posture management with partners
- Improve enterprise security posture through code in Python, Go or similar and infrastructure as code
- Mentor junior engineers and advise leadership on AI risk
What they ask for
- Not hired in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose or surrounding areas
- 7+ years in security engineering or infrastructure security
- 2+ years leading teams in a technical or staff-level capacity at an enterprise
- Cloud security expertise (AWS, GCP) and container security (Kubernetes)
- Record of designing and deploying complex security systems at scale
- Strong programming in Python, Go or Java
- Occasional travel for in-person meetings
