The role
Coinbase is hiring staff software engineers in Developer Infrastructure to own CI, build systems and deployment orchestration used by all its engineers. The role is remote in the US, with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Own CI/build and deployment platforms
- Turn ambiguous problems into technical roadmaps
- Improve build time, deploy speed and safety
- Own SLOs, observability and on-call
- Mentor engineers
What they ask for
- 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems
- Hands-on Go or a comparable systems language
- Direct experience with CI/CD, build systems or deployment tooling
