The role
Samsara, an IoT-based operations platform, is hiring a Strategic Events Marketing Manager to support production of its annual customer conference, Beyond, and other hosted events. Remote in the US, excluding the SF Bay Area, NYC and Washington, D.C. metro areas.
What you will do
- Coordinate keynote and breakout planning with internal teams, the production vendor and venues
- Build timelines, schedule rehearsals and manage executive and speaker schedules
- Source vehicles and equipment for content production
- Review venue contracts to confirm production needs are met
- Coordinate expo hall production details among stakeholders, vendors and the venue
- Oversee several events with overlapping schedules
What they ask for
- 3+ years of event management or production experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Live in the US outside the SF Bay Area, NYC and Washington, D.C. metro areas
- Able to travel 30% of the time
- Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently
- Strong budget management, negotiation and project management skills
