The role
Reddit is hiring a French-speaking Community Manager on a contract basis for its International Community team. The work is growing French-language communities and recruiting local volunteer moderators. The contract is open to candidates based in the UK or Ireland.
What you will do
- Study the French market to find user and moderator challenges and opportunities
- Scale the international consumer growth playbook with new programs and ideas
- Plan how to recruit, educate and grow local volunteer moderators, including a funnel that turns power users and creators into moderators
- Set KPIs and analyze data to guide local community initiatives
- Work with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety and BD teams
What they ask for
- Based in the UK or Ireland (contract engagement)
- 5+ years in community development, project management, growth, operations or product consulting with community-led results
- Fluent in French and English
- Deep knowledge of French culture, current events and internet culture
- Clear, persuasive communication across teams, moderators, partners and creators
- Strong execution and attention to detail
