The role
Reddit is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the technical direction of its ads retrieval and targeting models. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in the United States.
What you will do
- Set the technical roadmap for ads retrieval modeling
- Design and launch candidate-generation and retrieval models for ads
- Apply two-tower models, embeddings and other deep learning methods
- Improve objectives, sampling, features and retrieval depth across the stack
- Work with nearest-neighbor and vector retrieval systems
What they ask for
- 7+ years of industry experience shipping applied ML products
- Deep experience in information retrieval, recommender systems or ranking
- Experience training and deploying deep learning models with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with large behavioral or content datasets and feature pipelines
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience
