The role
Coinbase is hiring a Product Marketing Manager in its Institutional group to own positioning and go-to-market for Prime and Markets products such as spot, derivatives, cross-margin and execution. Clients are hedge funds, asset managers and market makers. Coinbase is remote-first.
What you will do
- Own positioning and messaging for Prime and Markets products across spot, futures, options, cross-margin, execution and liquidity.
- Lead go-to-market for major launches, including product readiness, sales enablement, client communications and events.
- Build enablement materials such as talk tracks, FAQs, battlecards and demos based on real objections and deals.
- Work with Sales and Coverage teams, and feed market insight into product roadmap discussions.
- Communicate what is live and what is next, accounting for differing regulatory limits across regions.
What they ask for
- 5+ years in product marketing, product strategy or institutional go-to-market.
- Direct experience in institutional trading, derivatives (futures, options, margining, execution) or market infrastructure.
- Track record building positioning for technically complex products and simplifying them for sophisticated trading firms.
- Success working with Product, Sales, Legal and Comms on launches that drive client adoption.
- Fluency discussing risk, margining, execution workflows and capital efficiency with hedge funds and market makers.
What they offer
- Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility
- Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) benefits
- Remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions
