The role
The company is looking for an engineering manager to lead its Compose team, which is taking an AI-native product from early access to everyday use. The hands-on role is remote within the United States.
What you will do
- Lead, hire and coach a team of full-stack engineers
- Review pull requests and set technical standards
- Own delivery with a fast ship-measure-iterate loop
- Co-own the Compose roadmap with Product and Design
What they ask for
- 2+ years directly managing software engineers, including hiring and performance management
- 5+ years as a software engineer on production applications
- Hands-on technical work within the last 3-4 years
- Experience leading a team that shipped LLM-powered features to production
- Clear communication of technical tradeoffs
