The role
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for mobile QA on the App Infra team in Consumer & Business. The team is rewriting the retail app natively in Swift and Kotlin. You would own the automated test infrastructure that gates each native release.
What you will do
- Design and build automated regression suites for native iOS and Android builds
- Build test infrastructure that runs inside the AI-assisted code generation loop and checks tests and performance at commit time
- Work with mobile engineers to close coverage gaps, remove flaky tests and fix slow debugging workflows
- Plan the QA strategy for the greenfield rollout while handling late changes from product teams
- Set up quality dashboards and SLOs covering app stability, dropped frames, stalls and cold start time
What they ask for
- 5+ years of software engineering focused on mobile test automation
- Hands-on experience with XCTest, Espresso or equivalent native testing frameworks
- Track record building regression infrastructure in CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite or CircleCI, with measurable results
- Enough Swift and Kotlin to read, debug and write test code against native codebases
- Ability to design solid technical solutions through trade-off analysis
