The role
The company is hiring a senior fullstack engineer for its Marketplace and App Experience domain, which owns the Home hub and user journeys across the company's mobile and web surfaces. Remote, open only to residents of nine listed Canadian provinces.
What you will do
- Break larger projects into tasks and deliver them in phases
- Work on cross-team front-end projects across mobile and web
- Collaborate with product, design and analytics on ideation, constraints and trade-offs
- Create and monitor metrics and support on-call work
- Take part in team activities such as interviewing
What they ask for
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue
- Experience shipping mobile apps with native or cross-platform tools such as React Native
- Experience building APIs at scale in Kotlin or Python
- Comfort navigating a large code base and giving code review feedback
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Resident in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, PEI or Saskatchewan
