The role
The company is hiring a security software engineer for detection and response, building alerts, automation and logging pipelines to catch threats. The role is remote anywhere in the US, with office visits once or twice every six months.
What you will do
- Build alerts and automation to detect and respond to threats
- Manage logging pipelines and onboard new log sources
- Respond to alerts and run incidents on an on-call rotation
- Hunt for undetected threats
What they ask for
- Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of intrusion detection and incident response in the cloud
- Hands-on SIEM query writing for alerting and threat hunting
- Scripting in Python, Go or Ruby
- Based in the US
