The role
The company, the home services marketplace, is hiring a senior software engineer for its Developer Experience team, which builds AI-powered developer workflows and internal tooling. The role is remote in the United States.
What you will do
- Roll out agentic developer tools and build the skills, plugins and MCP servers behind them
- Build self-service workflows in the Backstage portal and developer CLI
- Own the cloud development environment platform for engineers and AI agents
- Improve build systems, CI/CD and test infrastructure
What they ask for
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building developer infrastructure or platform tools at 100+ engineer scale
- Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
