The role
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer on its Developer Productivity team, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. The work is building Nest.js service scaffolding and platform tooling for a new monorepo. The role is a permanent, full-time position, remote-first in Argentina.
What you will do
- Build Nest.js service scaffolding so product teams can stand up backend services in the new monorepo
- Implement paved paths, generators and platform primitives that work from day one
- Build seams that let new services run independently of the existing monolith
- Own deployment of services and web apps on Cloudflare and its interoperability with AWS, Kubernetes, Pulumi and Argo CD
- Lead migrations of large codebases into the monorepo and turn them into repeatable recipes
- Partner with product teams as platform customers
What they ask for
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building and operating backend services in production
- Experience in backend service design, including boundaries, contracts and data ownership
- Business-level English
- Fluency in TypeScript and Node, with edge runtime comfort
- Hands-on monorepo tooling experience at scale (Nx, Turborepo or similar)
- Strong written communication of decisions
- Located in Argentina
