The role
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Institutional Exchange team to build and run real-time trading systems: matching engines, order management, market data and funding rate computation. Remote-first company.
What you will do
- Build and run low-latency, event-sourced trading systems across cloud and colocated environments
- Own reliability and correctness of production systems running 24/7, including incident response and failover design
- Work with Product, Infrastructure and engineering leaders to turn strategy into quarterly milestones
- Drive technical design decisions in your domain and build consensus
- Write well-tested, performance-critical backend code focused on latency and throughput
What they ask for
- 5+ years of software engineering, owning production trading, exchange or financial infrastructure at scale
- Deep proficiency in Java, C++ or Go, with JVM or Linux performance tuning
- Experience designing and operating reliable distributed systems with strict correctness and 24/7 uptime
- Experience scoping and delivering projects with Product and cross-functional teams
- Interest in crypto and institutional markets
