The role
The company is hiring a Software Engineer for the CDP Payment Acceptance team, which builds a stablecoin payment rail for merchant checkout, subscriptions and onchain settlement. The work is full stack across a Go backend and a React/Next.js frontend. The company is remote-first, with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Deliver features end to end across Go services and the Next.js merchant checkout, including APIs, protobufs, migrations and TypeScript clients
- Build the buyer checkout UI: payment links, embeddable components and wallet connection flows
- Implement fault-tolerant payment workflows in Temporal for onchain settlement, refunds and reconciliation on PostgreSQL
- Add logs, metrics and Datadog traces, and take on-call for services you ship
- Work with Product, Design and other engineering teams to fit Payment Acceptance into the developer platform
What they ask for
- 3+ years of full-stack engineering shipping production Go (concurrency, gRPC, testing) and TypeScript/React/Next.js
- Relational database experience, PostgreSQL preferred: schema design, migrations, query performance
- Experience designing APIs (protobuf/gRPC, REST, OpenAPI) and instrumenting systems with Datadog or OpenTelemetry
- Experience with durable workflow systems (Temporal, Cadence, Step Functions) or EVM blockchains and stablecoins
- Clear design docs, PR descriptions and runbooks
- Uses generative AI tools responsibly with human oversight
