The role
The company is hiring a Staff Infrastructure Engineer for its trading Exchange team, owning the infrastructure, deployment and operational tooling for latency-sensitive trading environments across cloud and on-prem or colocated venues. The company is remote-first, with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Own infrastructure, deployment and operational tooling for multi-node trading environments across cloud and on-prem
- Drive reliability and developer velocity through observability, deploy safety and incident response for 24/7 systems
- Set operational standards through reviews and automation, and reduce single points of failure
- Work with trading platform engineers to make latency-sensitive systems operable
- Mentor engineers
- Work with Product, Institutional Markets and SRE on the roadmap
What they ask for
- 8+ years in infrastructure, platform or SRE engineering owning production systems at scale
- Ran infrastructure for latency-sensitive trading, including on-prem or colocated deployments
- Deep skills in orchestration, containerized and bare-metal deployments, and observability tooling
- Strong Linux performance and networking fundamentals
- Delivered end to end from scoping to deploy safety, monitoring and incident response
- Experience in regulated or financial environments
- Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight
