The role
The company is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Financial Intelligence team within FinHub in its Platform group. The team builds the account and transaction history systems used across the company products. The company is remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of six engineers across levels
- Drive the re-architecture of core account and transaction history systems for higher scale and new product types
- Own the roadmap for FinHub internal tools, dashboards and agentic workflows
- Guide architecture across distributed systems, streaming pipelines and full-stack tooling, with design reviews
- Plan quarterly roadmaps with product, finance and engineering leaders, and break work into shippable milestones
- Recruit engineers and own quality processes such as SLAs, incident response and on-call
What they ask for
- 7+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years managing engineers
- Proven delivery and operation of distributed systems at scale
- Hands-on ability to review code, lead incidents and triage issues
- Experience with financial systems, event-driven architecture or precise transaction processing
- Comfort leading teams across backend, streaming and full-stack tooling
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight
