The role

The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Stablecoin team in its Developer group. The team runs the company Custom Stablecoins, which lets partners issue branded USDC-backed stablecoins. The role spans backend services and smart contracts. The company is remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.

What you will do

  • Own and evolve smart contracts that mint, burn and safeguard custom stablecoin supply, shipped securely and auditably
  • Build backend services for onboarding, issuance, reserve accounting and rewards distribution
  • Turn the stablecoin roadmap into shipped features each quarter with product, design and tech leads
  • Make architecture decisions across backend and smart contracts, balancing security, scale and speed
  • Write well-tested code and raise operational standards for the team

What they ask for

  • 5+ years in software engineering, building and operating production backend services
  • Experience writing, testing and deploying Solidity or other EVM smart contracts in production
  • Comfort owning a service end to end in a service-oriented architecture
  • Working knowledge of onchain security: audits, upgradeability, access control and key management
  • Familiarity with Go and Ethereum fundamentals; DeFi or stablecoin experience preferred
  • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight
