The role
The company is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer for its Blockchain Platform team, which runs the nodes, indexers and wallets behind crypto actions across 60+ networks and 300+ tokens. You would set technical direction for the wallet and indexing stacks. Remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Define the multi-quarter technical strategy for nodes, wallets, indexing and asset lifecycle
- Architect core platform infrastructure for availability, low latency, cost and security at global scale
- Lead cross-team redesigns such as the wallet stack, indexing stack and asset identifier system
- Set engineering standards for correctness, security, reliability, testing and observability
- Use observability data to find platform gaps and lead fixes
- Present strategy and trade-offs to executives and cross-org forums
What they ask for
- 12+ years of software engineering, including 4+ years at staff level on high-throughput transaction systems
- Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols at node or protocol level, such as EVM chains, Solana or Bitcoin
- Depth in staking infrastructure, bridging protocols or tokenization systems
- Track record leading multi-team architecture projects for critical infrastructure at global scale
- Experience using AI or agent automation to reduce operational toil
- Attend quarterly in-person working sessions
