The role
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its CEE Surfaces team, which owns customer and agent support experiences such as the Help Center, chat and agent tools. The work is full-stack in React/TypeScript and Go. Remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Build full-stack features in React/TypeScript and Go for the Help Center, chat and agent workflows
- Turn high-volume customer problems into self-serve and assisted-support experiences with product, design and CX Ops
- Own APIs, service integrations and UI flows connecting to routing, procedures, data and evaluation systems
- Run experiments and track metrics such as containment, CSAT and escalation rates
- Integrate AI/ML and vendor capabilities with guardrails, observability and staged rollout
- Join on-call, handle incidents and mentor engineers
What they ask for
- 5+ years building and operating production full-stack web applications
- Hands-on React with TypeScript and Go backend API development
- Experience shipping customer-facing experiences with Product and Design
- Distributed systems fundamentals: API design, caching, observability, incident response
- Experience integrating AI/ML or third-party platforms with guardrails and testing
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight
- Attend quarterly in-person working sessions
