The role
The company is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer in Argentina as one of the first members of its Buenos Aires engineering team, likely on the the company Cloud product for deploying web apps on the company-hosted domains. The role is a permanent, full-time employee position, remote-first.
What you will do
- Design and implement scalable multi-tenant backend services and APIs.
- Work with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, GraphQL, Apollo, AWS and Kafka.
- Lead projects and write maintainable, tested, performant code.
- Write and review design documents and influence technical designs and team priorities.
- Work with product managers and designers.
- Mentor junior engineers and join engineering citizenship activities such as blogs and hiring.
What they ask for
- 5+ years developing and deploying web applications with a record of shipping code.
- Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript, building services with Express.js, GraphQL, Apollo and MongoDB.
- Ability to debug production issues across services and stack levels.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Playwright or Cypress.
- Business-level English fluency.
- Based in Argentina.
- Comfortable in an agile environment and open to using AI.
