The role
The company is hiring a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead use of agentic AI in ML modeling workflows for Ads Ranking. The role improves model quality and development speed using AI coding tools. The role is fully remote.
What you will do
- Develop ML models and the agentic workflows that help teams design, train and evaluate them
- Use tools like Claude and Cursor to investigate model behavior, test hypotheses and automate analysis
- Build loops for label analysis, feature and embedding work, hyperparameter tuning and experiment readouts
- Design evaluation harnesses for model outcomes and workflow quality, including cost and latency
- Partner with product, data science and ML infrastructure teams
- Set technical direction and mentor engineers

- 9+ years in ML engineering or applied ML with substantial production impact
- Senior Staff-level leadership influencing direction across teams
- Deep modeling expertise: data, objectives, architectures, optimization, evaluation
- Concrete examples of using agentic AI or coding tools to improve ML outcomes
- Ability to design guardrails and evaluations for autonomous workflows
- Strong Python and modern ML framework skills
