The role
The company is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead its Media Ranking machine learning team, which works on relevance, personalization and discovery for video and audio content. The role is remote.
What you will do
- Define the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Feed Relevance
- Coach and grow a team of machine learning engineers
- Oversee design and optimisation of relevance, discovery and content distribution systems
- Work with product and other partners to find opportunities and set expectations
- Work with platform and infrastructure teams on the next generation of AI-powered systems
- Recruit and hire machine learning engineers

- 5+ years building and managing high-performing ML teams
- Hands-on experience with large-scale production ML, including transformers, sequence models or LLMs
- Strong knowledge of recommender systems: retrieval, ranking, value modeling and measurement
- Ability to set and communicate a clear technical strategy
- Strong communication with cross-functional partners
