The role
The company is hiring a software development engineer for AI-powered backend systems built on Python and LLM APIs. It is a full-time, project-based remote role in IST hours with overlap with US Pacific Time teams, and the start is urgent.
What you will do
- Build and maintain Python backend services and internal tools for AI-powered applications.
- Integrate LLM APIs into production, including prompt handling, validation, retries and failure handling.
- Design REST APIs, async workflows and background job systems.
- Work on a multi-language codebase (C#/C++, Python, web) where needed.
- Monitor performance with telemetry tools and fix bottlenecks.
- Turn product ideas into production features with cross-functional teams.
What they ask for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional backend or systems engineering.
- Strong production Python development.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into real applications.
- Skills across C#, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL; .NET Web API and React.
- Docker, Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform and AWS or Azure.
- Work hours 8-5 or 9-6 IST, overlapping with US Pacific Time teams.
- Able to start within 1 to 2 weeks.
