The role
The company, a CFD and spread betting broker regulated in several jurisdictions, is hiring a Head of Data & AI who reports to the COO. The role is about 60% AI strategy and 40% data, and leads a team of data analysts.
What you will do
- Own the AI strategy from opportunity identification to deployment and adoption
- Redesign business workflows around AI and measure adoption and results
- Build AI capability through training, prompt libraries, templates and AI champions
- Own the business-facing gold layer of the data warehouse, including metrics and definitions
- Develop the semantic data model and promote data self-service
- Set analytics engineering practices and lead the data analysts
What they ask for
- Proven leadership in data, analytics or AI functions
- Delivered AI solutions that changed business workflows with measurable impact
- Hands-on SQL, data modelling and analytics engineering
- Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework
- Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar platforms
- Background in financial services, trading or brokerage
- Experience coaching analytics teams and managing stakeholders
