The role
The company is hiring a Senior Developer Educator to create video, written and hands-on education content for the company customers. You would present on camera and build production-quality reference sites. The role is full-time, based in San Francisco or remote in the US, with travel to SF one week a month.
What you will do
- Build the reference websites behind the company University courses, tutorials and live training
- Shape technical curriculum with instructional designers and video producers
- Present technical content on camera for tutorials, lessons and live sessions
- Act as the education team's technical expert, checking content for accuracy
- Keep the technical library current as the platform ships
- Work with product and engineering so education is ready at launch
What they ask for
- 4+ years in technical education and web development and/or design
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, able to write, review and explain code
- Experience teaching technical concepts through video, documentation, courses or workshops
- Willingness to present on camera, from an outline or script
- Located in the US, with travel to San Francisco one week per month
