The role
CXM Direct is hiring a Payment Integration Engineer, listed in the text as Payment Integration Manager, for an international broker whose clients use about 60 payment methods across Asia, Africa, LATAM and the Middle East. It is an early hire on a new payments product team. Remote within GMT to GMT+4.
What you will do
- Run the onboarding of new payment providers from first technical call through UAT to production launch
- Set integration acceptance standards and own the go or no-go decision before launch
- Turn provider API documentation into implementation-ready specifications for engineering
- Handle first-line response to failed, stuck and unconfirmed payment incidents and drive them to resolution
- Test integrations hands-on, including checkout flows, callbacks in Postman and SQL queries
- Maintain a catalogue of payment methods and providers and produce a 90-day deposit attempt analysis
What they ask for
- 4+ years in payments, PSP integrations or fintech platforms with hands-on integration ownership
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, asynchronous payment statuses, callbacks and redirect flows
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Ability to investigate live incidents using logs and API responses
- Ability to tell provider-side issues from platform-side problems
- Working proficiency in English and Russian, both used daily
- Located within GMT to GMT+4; basic AI tool use in daily work
