Stripe's Abuse Control Engineering team is hiring a Security Engineer to prototype and deploy technical defenses against fraud and abuse on its platform. The role is remote in the US.
What you will do
- Prototype and deploy controls that close abuse vectors
- Turn threat research into technical control requirements
- Build regression suites to prevent recurrence
- Co-design controls with product teams
What they ask for
- 3+ years in security, software, application security or anti-abuse engineering
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience building API safeguards, rate limiting or auth checks
- Automated testing experience
- Large-scale data tools such as Databricks, Trino or PySpark
