The role
Lago is hiring a senior AI/ML engineer to build inventory demand forecasting models and decision systems end to end. The role is remote for candidates in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico or the Philippines, working 9am-6pm Eastern.
What you will do
- Build and improve demand forecasting models
- Own models from data collection to deployment and monitoring
- Develop decision systems for inventory planning and pricing
- Maintain data pipelines and API integrations
What they ask for
- 5+ years of Python in production ML systems
- Deep statistical modeling experience (ensembles, kNN, calibration, cross-validation)
- Time-series forecasting expertise including seasonality and demand planning
- Experience with API integration and data pipelines
- Hands-on LLM/agent workflow experience
- 9am-6pm Eastern Time working hours
