The role
Motive, a fleet and physical operations software company, is hiring a Senior Content Marketing Strategist. This senior individual contributor owns strategy and results for major content programs such as thought leadership, research reports and customer storytelling aimed at enterprise buyers.
What you will do
- Set strategy, roadmap and editorial direction for thought leadership, flagship research, data reports and long-form content
- Own full-funnel content programs from brief through production, distribution and measurement
- Build a customer- and expert-led content program with executive, expert and customer interviews, working with Customer Marketing
- Use content and business data to prioritize investment and show contribution to pipeline
- Advise product marketing, demand generation, SEO, brand, sales and executive partners
- Build AI-enabled approaches that improve content quality, speed and consistency
What they ask for
- 6+ years of B2B content marketing, or equivalent experience in communications or journalism
- Experience owning a content function or major program from strategy to measurement
- Exceptional writing and editing, turning technical and data-heavy topics into clear narratives
- Ability to design content ecosystems that connect audience needs, funnel stages, formats and channels
- Experience running executive and expert interviews
- Experience building content from proprietary data or customer insight
- Plus: fleet, transportation or physical operations industry familiarity
