The role
Airbnb is hiring a senior data scientist for its People Analytics & Research team to apply causal inference to questions about recruiting, pay, promotion and retention. The role is remote-eligible in US states where Airbnb has a registered entity.
What you will do
- Gather and analyse people data to answer workforce questions
- Build statistical models covering hiring, promotion, retention and pay equity
- Lead recurring compensation analytics with Legal and Total Rewards
- Turn findings into visualisations and recommendations for leaders
What they ask for
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field
- Deep experience with causal inference and quasi-experimental design on observational data
- Experience applying data science to compensation, recruiting or workforce questions
- Experience with large practical datasets
- Must live in a US state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
