The role
Motive is hiring a senior security engineer for its Product Security team to secure its fleet devices, from boot chain and firmware to manufacturing. The role is remote in Canada.
What you will do
- Set the hardware and embedded security baseline across Motive devices
- Lead hardware security architecture reviews and threat modeling
- Define security requirements for firmware, boot and debug interfaces
- Work with hardware engineers to fix security findings

- 5+ years in hardware security
- 5+ years giving product teams security designs and requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Python and C/C++ development
- Experience reviewing security controls for hardware and low-level systems
- Cloud, runtime, supply chain and application security knowledge
