The role
Customer.io is hiring a senior software engineer to own its email channel across backend delivery systems and customer-facing frontend features. Email experience is not required, and the role is remote across the Americas.
What you will do
- Build editors, configuration and analytics dashboards customers use for campaigns
- Design and scale backend systems for message delivery
What they ask for
- 7+ years building scalable distributed systems in Go or a similar statically typed language
- Experience building product frontend features in React or similar
- Experience with high-throughput async workloads such as event streams and queues
- Experience with observability tooling and running production systems
