The role
Sanity, maker of an AI content operating system, is hiring an engineering manager for its AI Growth team, which builds MCP server work, agentic builders and integrations for developer tools. Open to Remote US or the San Francisco Bay Area.
What you will do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers and help them prioritize for impact
- Own strategy, roadmap and delivery with product and design partners
- Drive growth metrics such as activation, integration signups and developer adoption
- Run experiments and iterate quickly on what works
- Build AI developer tools, MCP integrations and platform integrations like Google Drive and Dropbox
- Set technical direction across TypeScript, React, Node.js and Go microservices
What they ask for
- 1+ years of engineering management experience, ideally in growth settings
- Strong full-stack skills in TypeScript, React, Node.js and Next.js
- Active use of MCP and AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable and v0
- Growth engineering experience with A/B tests and funnels, e.g. GrowthBook or Amplitude
- Based in Remote US or the Bay Area; Bay Area staff work from the office 2 days a week
- Comfortable with ambiguity and cross-functional work
