The role
Twilio is hiring a Technical Support Engineer 2 to support customers of its Programmable Messaging product. The work covers email, phone and chat cases from developers and large brands. The role is remote, based in Colombia, covering the AMER time zone.
What you will do
- Handle messaging email cases from individual developers and major brands
- Troubleshoot message deliverability problems and debug customer code
- Guide customers by phone and chat through building their SMS applications
- File Jira tickets for reproducible bugs and work with Product and Engineering via Slack
- Raise recurring customer problems with the manager to improve processes
What they ask for
- 2+ years in a client-facing technical role, ideally supporting REST APIs or enterprise software
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of common web technology stacks and working knowledge of a general-purpose programming language
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to de-escalate tense customer situations
- Clear written, spoken and listening communication
- Based in Colombia, working the AMER time zone
