The role
Remote Recruitment is hiring a full-time Customer Service Agent for a UK business, fully remote from South Africa on UK hours. You would handle customer queries by email, chat and phone from first contact to resolution.
What you will do
- Answer customer queries by email, chat and phone
- Log and track cases in the helpdesk system
- Resolve issues or escalate them with clear notes
- Process orders, returns and account changes
- Share feedback to improve the service
What they ask for
- Experience in customer service or support
- Clear, friendly written and spoken English
- Experience with a helpdesk tool such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
- Calm approach to complaints
- Based in South Africa; work 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST)
- Nice to have: live chat, Shopify, UK customers
