The role
Stripe is hiring a Head of AEO & SEO in its Growth Marketing team to own organic search and answer-engine visibility. The role leads a team and sets Stripe's approach to appearing in AI-generated answers.
What you will do
- Own the organic growth strategy across SEO and AEO, including technical work, content and on-site experience
- Lead and develop a team of SEO and AEO specialists
- Improve rankings, citations, traffic, signups and activations from organic channels
- Improve how well AI assistants understand Stripe's products and how to integrate them
- Work with product, engineering, content, growth and data science to embed SEO/AEO practices
- Build the measurement framework and attribution models for organic revenue impact
What they ask for
- 10+ years in SEO, including 3+ leading a team and 2+ at senior level working with executives
- Expertise in technical SEO and content strategy with large-scale organic growth
- Understanding of AI search and answer engines, including retrieval, citations and entity recognition
- Strong analytical skills in attribution and measurement
- Able to explain technical concepts to executives
- Experience working with engineering, product, content and data science
