The role
The company is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Core DevOps team, which owns core repository capabilities from Git command-line operations to web-based code exploration. The manager builds and leads a globally distributed team in a remote, asynchronous environment.
What you will do
- Build, manage and mentor a globally distributed engineering team
- Hire, onboard and develop engineers while keeping quality and accountability high
- Work with product management, design and other engineering teams on roadmaps and commitments
- Guide engineers on architecture, code quality, performance and security across frontend and backend
- Manage agile and asynchronous workflows and address blockers early
- Hold regular one-on-ones and join availability and incident rotations as needed

- Experience managing engineering teams, with architectural guidance and technical mentorship
- Background in enterprise software development, distributed systems and delivery pipelines
- Experience aligning stakeholders across product, design, engineering and infrastructure
- Track record of setting up engineering processes and moving work forward amid ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication in remote, asynchronous, global teams
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve team efficiency
