The role
The company is hiring a Staff Fullstack Engineer for the Purchase team in its Monetization section, which owns how customers buy and expand the company products. The role is remote-global and uses Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
What you will do
- Design and build fullstack features across the purchase journey
- Lead technical design for new purchasing capabilities and a unified purchase flow
- Make sure purchase flows integrate safely with downstream billing and CRM systems
- Set standards for code quality, testing, rollout safety and monitoring
- Mentor engineers and review merge requests
- Reduce technical debt and join incident response for purchase issues
What they ask for
- Professional fullstack experience across frontend and backend; the stack is Ruby on Rails and Vue.js
- Experience owning technical direction for a product area
- Experience with transactional or checkout-style flows, ideally billing, ecommerce or subscriptions
- Bias toward safe, incremental delivery
- Clear communication of complex technical problems
- English proficiency for remote, largely asynchronous work
- Familiarity with Zuora, Salesforce or Stripe is a plus
