The role
The company is hiring a Staff Corporate Security Engineer to secure the endpoints and SaaS platforms its all-remote staff use, with a focus on macOS. The work is done as code with Terraform and GitOps. The listed salary range applies to US residents.
What you will do
- Lead security architecture for the company's endpoint fleet, mainly macOS
- Automate endpoint deployment, configuration and lifecycle management with code-based workflows
- Manage endpoint and SaaS security settings through Terraform, merge requests and CI pipelines
- Define and enforce security baselines across macOS, iOS, Windows and Linux
- Work with IT, Security Operations and Detection and Response on endpoint telemetry and detections
- Mentor engineers and act as senior escalation point for complex endpoint issues
What they ask for
- Experience delivering endpoint, systems or corporate security solutions with scalable controls
- Deep knowledge of endpoint management such as Jamf Pro or FleetDM, especially macOS
- Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code, including modules, state and pipelines
- Experience with GitOps workflows
- Scripting or programming for security automation (bash, Python, PowerShell or Go)
- Familiarity with identity providers such as Okta, Google Workspace and LDAP
- Able to work independently and asynchronously in an all-remote team
