The role
The company is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist, to deploy its North AI platform into UK public sector customers' private cloud and on-premises environments. The role is UK-based, active DV clearance is highly preferred and 20-40% travel is expected.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, from planning to rollout
- Assess customers' infrastructure, security requirements and data management with their IT teams
- Design deployment strategies that meet data privacy and security standards
- Troubleshoot deployment issues quickly to limit downtime
- Experiment quickly to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Travel on-site to customers and partners
What they ask for
- Experience working directly with customers
- Experience deploying enterprise software in private or hybrid cloud environments
- Administered large-scale production Kubernetes clusters, with Helm expertise
- DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Git
- Cloud infrastructure expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking and virtualization
- UK-based; active DV clearance highly preferred; 20-40% travel
- Bonus: GPU node orchestration and scheduling
